One of the teachers here uses a tablet PC and really like the Windows Journal. Thinking it might make a nice alternative for the standard IWB software I was wondering how to get hold of a copy.

 

I notice it's installed as standard now in Vista but as my machines are XP SP3 that's not helpfull.

 

Any ideas on how to get a copy for XP Pro? (You can't do a straight copy of the Vista version either unless you need to do something other than copy/past the program diretory ...Plus I would guess that might be a bit naughty.)

But I think it would take some questionable doings to get it across from tablet edition in its full form.

If you are looking at that sort of functionality and get access to Journal then using a wireless wacom tablet can be a good alternative to an IWB.

It's OK. I just wondered if there was an easy (preferably cheap) way of getting it.

 

As the answer seems to be, No, then I'm not going to invest too much time in it.
