Sharepoint - Hide search for certain users/groups

Hi,

I'm setting up a site in sharepoint for our pupils to use as their homepage. I've managed to hide/remove most parts that i don't want them to see but i can't find a way to disable the search... I ideally would want to remove it completely but removing "People" and "All Sites" would work, so they can search the site they're on but not any others. But i want it accessible for staff so can't remove them completely...

I've searched around but not found any way of doing it, so hopefully someone on here can help.

I found the solution.... creating a new master page for that site, without the search.
