Hi, I've been asked to investigate if there is any software for primary school use to simulate control of devices for "Control Technology" lessons.

I can't be Googling properly as I keep getting flight sims and advanced software simulation links, does anyone have any suggestions of what software we can evaluate if there is any?

Thanks

We use Flowol. No time to trawl through the site, but the (old) version we have has "slot together" basic plastic models that can be connected to a control box to take the lesson off the screen and into the "real world".

Some schools use the Lego Robotix stuff (not cheap!).

If I get time/remember, I'll try to dig out a link I found that had a few free control simulations.

There'll be a stack of companies at BETT in January, if you can hang on that long - LEGO will have a stand, which is always fun, and every other company that does control systems will be there in some fashion.

We have Flowol 3 and Go but tend to use Flowol mainly with the mimics. We have a couple of interfaces that allow us to connect sensors, lights motors etc.

I also got the mimic creator, so we can create our own.
