Profiles doesn't work on new installs (50)

We need to install 50 instances of SIMS for a Profiles training session tomorrow. SIMS.net is installed ok, but Profiles won't launch on any of the computers giving an error about wordview.exe not existing. I've upgraded the version of Office XP to 2003, so it shouldn't require Word Viewer, should it? I've tried deleting the SIMS application folder on a worsktation and reinstalling with SIMSInst, but the issue is still apparent.

Any ideas?
