PXE service keeps on dropping!!!

Hi all,

I have Symantec Ghost 2.5 a old version installed which keeps on dropping the PXE service event viewer just tells me it terminated unexpectedly!!! If I restart the service it will work ok for between 1 to 15mins then drop again...

I have reinstalled Ghost also now installed on a new Dell server but continue to drop that service... Please any advise would be gratful?

Is the network port "live"?

 

If nothing is plugged in, Windows can stop services bound to an "unused" NIC!

correction version is 1.1 not 2.1:)

 

Yes the LAN port is plugged into the switch and it see the whole network fine...
