Anyone ever been to either?

 

Need to sort a hotel in each place for next week, wondering if anyone's got any recommendations?

Been to Copenhagen - lovely place

The hotel was ok (Zleep) - though rooms were a bit small - in a place called Tarnby (http://www.expedia.co.uk/pub/agent.dll/qscr=dspv/nojs=1/htid=976299)

Its only across the road from the Train Station, which is about 2 stops from the airport and about 2 or 3 from Copenhagen itself

Only in Copenhagen for 1 night and day so probably would want something staggering distance from the city center. Is it as pricey out and about as people make it out to be?

without turning the site into a travel one... in case anyone happens to want a follow up on this thread... stayed in the Star in copenhagen, and the HHH - Language in aalborg. Both were dead central, great staff and free internet (in the lobby - room wifi was extra)

 

Denmark is bloomin expensive, could have had a 3 week holiday in spain for the same price as 3 days there. £7-8 a pint no joke. And we didn't even win the game either
