Help!

Hi, I have just fixed a family members laptop because she was getting bsod (blue screen of death) But some how putting it in safemode made it work, Why did this make it work?? The blue screen was saying something about something in the registery wasn't working corrupt, absent, missing...??

Do you have the actual error and Registry Entry?

Sounds like either a driver issue or something's been deleted.

Can she login in normal mode?

If it doesn't get past the login/welcome screen try using "Last Known Good Configuration.

whats been installed or uninstalld recently? (hardware/software)?
