dubbing audio on a video from youtube

how would i go about dubbing the audio from a video from youtube?

 

what software would i need to a) grab the video from youtube and b) dub the audio over the top of it and re-save it again?

youtube downloader is a nice free piece of software to download the flv then convert to avi...you can choose not to include the original audio in the new file...after which you could stick it in windows movie makers, or iMovie (it is good) and re record the dub.

then export as avi

I don't know how Moviemaker handles it but if you are adding a soundtrack where there is existing audio you need to look at the overall gain otherwise you will get distortion.
