All programs missing

Hello all...

 

I have about 30 laptops for teacher use with XP Pro.

 

The laptops are on a 2003 domain but the teachers use the default stand alone laptop.

 

The "all programs" on the "Start menu" is not working on some laptops but it seems to be spreading to others.

 

I repair it by pasting a copy of the "all programs" from the "all users" folder into the teachers folder in "Documents and settings"

hmm, your start menu isn't redirected by group policy?

 

Is it actually not working at all or is it freezing - it could be an add in or spyware if thats the case.

The "All Programs" just does not work at all...

...and every few days another one goes down?

If your start menu is supposed to be redirected by group policy, try running gpupdate /force on the machine.
