LittleRedFoot Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 Hi Could you tell me what risks there are, if any, for teachers to export their own marksheets to a flash drive (reports) using their own login and then completing their reports at home and then importing them back into AM7 once back at school. Can teachers over write any other data? Can teachers import any other data? All help welcome. LRF
ChrisH Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 (edited) As long as they are just a normal user in SIMs ie "Class Teacher" they can only change the items on the mark sheets they are assigned. They are best exporting a formatted mark sheet though to make sure they can only enter grades etc and not delete the name column by accident or something. Edited October 19, 2008 by ChrisH
Opensource Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 If there are two teachers for the class they both have access to the marksheet. If they both export and import the later to import will prevail. This has happened at our school. Twice - same teachers
