BSF in leicestershire

[marvin]

Does anyone know when the BSF program will be going ahead in leicestershire?

I know it has started in leicester city but how far are we from this? Is the IT being taken care of by RM? or any other contractors?

Sorry Marvin missed this thread.

Process starts in Leicestershire in 2012/2013 (that is start) there is some important things here to remember: -

- It will be linked in some way to the merged high/upper school program

- Up until BSF reform when it was a whole county build they where going start - a whole la merged school system but know bsf will to start with hit certain areas with in Leicestershire there is big question of where funding for single programme is coming from

- Both the BSF and single school program are drowning in politics and even heads do not know what is going on yet

- There are many projects that are starting in La at moment so that boxes are ticked on the bsf form.

-We are no where near point of deciding who gets bids that will all start nearer 2012/2013.

-Start your planning know work out what you want to do in when ict contract has been decided.

The government will probably need that long to find the money

With current financial excitement - I'm starting to doubt whether there will be any further developments as Govt and sponsor money dries up.
