Little-Miss Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 (edited) Can someone tell me what's wrong with this printout. The website says to check the envelope levers which i have. The only toner which is low is the Cyan, surely that wouldn't cause all this? It's not the best quality picture. It's really faint, and bitty, not solid at all. It should be four solid bands of colour. Edited October 6, 2008 by Little-Miss
Embazzy Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 There isnt really alot that can go wrong with the konica printers if all your toners are ok you can check the drum unit as far as i know they can be refused and after a couple of refuses the quality can become really bad.
SYNACK Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 The transfer drum could be cooked or the fuser, is there lots of extra loose toner collecting at the bottom of the printer?
Little-Miss Posted October 6, 2008 Author Posted October 6, 2008 Hmm, well i've got a spare drum cartridge here...might pop that in and see if that makes a difference.
Little-Miss Posted October 7, 2008 Author Posted October 7, 2008 Popped the Drum cartridge in, didnt make a difference. It reminds me of a paint roller that hasn't got enough paint on it! Found the manual, It recommends cleaning the laser lens which i've done several times.
