Toshiba a100 internal mic

Hello. I'm hopeless with this stuff, and I'm having a bit of a problem. I have a Toshiba Satellite A100 and am having trouble with the internal mic. I mean, I don't even know if there IS one. I'm hoping so. Anyway, if anyone could shed some light on how to get to it, how to unmute it or whatever so that i can use it, I'd appreciate it.

Which A1000 do you have specifically, google reckons even though it says it in the manual, some versions don't have the internal mic.

According to the bottom of the computer, it is the A100-214. I'm thinking it doesn't have one, but I know nothing about computers, so my opinion cannot be trusted.
