Oops_my_bad Posted October 2, 2008 Posted October 2, 2008 Does anyone know in citrix where the setting is to alter the timeout for the login screen? Or is this dependent on client settings? Problem I'm having is the citrix session is terminating if a user doesnt logon within a minute - can't find the setting anywhere
Ric_ Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 You don't really want to have your Citrix sessions sitting at the logon screen. Once the session is initiated and the logon screen appears, you are using a Citrix license and hence this license cannot be used elsewhere. It is far better to have a simple icon saying 'Log on' or similar for your users to click. In this way you need less Citrix licenses - it is unlikely that every device you have will be logged on all the time. 1
Oops_my_bad Posted October 3, 2008 Author Posted October 3, 2008 yes that's my main concern, however I was thinking of increasing it to 3 or 5 minutes. We have plenty of TS+citrix licenses floating about so I dont think it would be a big problem :/
Geoff Posted October 3, 2008 Posted October 3, 2008 It's in the terminal server configuration. Under the Connection properties, in the session tab. It's the 'idle' setting you need to tinker with. 1
Oops_my_bad Posted October 3, 2008 Author Posted October 3, 2008 Geoff is that in RDP-tcp or ICA-tcp??
