thin client USB

does anyone know how to use a usb pen when accessing a thin client server through andother machine? i want to be able to get some files into a networked drive on the thin client server (this is for pupils so going directly to the server is not a solution) thanks

Depends on the thin client, it just works on most.

what kind of server do you have and what thin clients?

 

If its terminal server you are using then you need to enable drive redirection on the server and allow that also on the client.

we are hosting citrix thin clients on windows 2003 server, the computers are macs.

I can't help on the citrix side of things but I have used the MS rdp client on a mac before and drive redirection worked ok for me.
