Add a custom field in Staff for Sims

Can some one tell me how to add a custom field into Sims. In our Sims for our staff the yhave 9 fields with the lst one being number 9, Documents.

 

I want to add a number 10, and put a couple of options in that require tick boxes.

There was a school in our vle project group that asked if this could be done and the answer from Capita was that it couldn't.

Tools - Setups - User Defined Fields - New

 

Within that you can define fields and which data area you want them to appear in etc.

My mistake I just checked and it was if there was a way to bulk import information into user defined fields and we were told it wasn't possible.
