BBC website videos

2 questions. Is anyone else getting region problems with BBC videos, specifically BBC Sport?

 

Their FAQ says there are problems and their engineers are working on it but that has been there since Mayish time and we have only had the problem this term. On the off chance does anyone have a BBC technical contact they could nudge to get an estimate of how long it is going to take to fix?

yes we are getting the same problem here.

I don't have a problem here, but earlier this year I spent a long time juggling RealPlayer, Flash, Shockwave and Java versions until I found a combination that made other parts of BBC work. I haven't dared change them since!

I kniow this is an old thread but its the same problem I have now, thought it was just a blip last week, but still same this week. Its not the LA connection causing problems I dont think as I get the same when trying from my phone. Anyone else got the problem as well if they could try for me?

Problem: Trying to play any video on BBC gives:

Cannot play media. Sorry, this media is not available in your territory

 

Annoying as kids need to watch Japan news and any Red Nose news

 

iPlayer seems to work OK though!

Have been wondering whats going on with iPlayer for a while now - trying to get the latest on Libya.
