toshiba laptop AC adapter making a funny noise

Recommended Posts

Hi all

Just wondered if anyone has ever had a funny noise come from a laptop AC adapter (in particular Toshiba's).

The noise sounds like a insect is trapped in there.... and it keeps making the noise every second. There is something wrong with the AC adapter as the laptop doesnt charge anymore.

Just wandered if anyone had this issue. I know it does sound weird...

Thanks

:hand:I had a dell AC adapter that is identical to the one currently being used, and when I switched the two I am not getting any problems thus far *knocks on table*. I have also tried this trick with another identical laptop, and had similar experiences. Edited by Lucille

laptop with headphones. If your headphones make the same noise, it's possible you have a software related problem. Try reinstalling the sound driver. You should be able to download the sound driver from the manufacturer's website. If reinstalling the sound driver doesn't help, you can try reinstalling the operating system.

Sometimes the problem is not that big, the only thing we need is to think and use our common sense. And after that, we are going to fix a problem on our own.
