I have a samsung P28 laptop - and would like to back up the system - I can't find an obvious programme to use. Can anyone help?

Different options are available but it depends on

* Operating system - Windows, Linux, etc.

* Backup media - Tape, CD, hard disk, online storage

* How much money you want to spend

One option is a external usb hard drive I personally have a Freecom drive with a large button on top that when pressed backs up all the stuff i have defined.

 

Works well also comes with Acronis disk imaging software

so you can take an exact copy of everything to restore to this or another laptop. (I have used it to do an odd bit off imaging at home it is a good all round solution)
