Ok i'm a bit puzzled about a profile issue that i'm having.

Our mandatory profiles are currently stored on the C drive C:\Profiles on each Citrix box, i've imaged the first Citrix box onto a new box (reinstalled Citrix as required) and now have it up and running. Both boxes are running perfectly except that when a user logs onto the new Citrix box and starts Office 2003 they get the initial box asking for their name, i don't get this on the original box as i set it in the mandatory profile. I've tried copying the mandatory profile from the old box to the new box and everything is configured correctly except for the Office popup box.

Has anyone had this issue before i'm not quite sure what to try?

Cheers.

We have the TS Profile Path set in ldap (AD)

it points to one location \\serverx\profiles$\terminalserver

that one path holds all the mandatory profiles, including the user.man

Ours is currently set in AD to point to C:\Profile and an identical copy is on each server, the support company set it up that way as for a couple of servers it's faster in future we may change it. For now though i have two identical profile doing different things :(

How do you create your .man profiles?

As i say copying a working profile from another server doesn't work so i decided to create a new one. I used a test student user to create the profile i then specified the new profile in the terminal server profile tab and tried it, it works fine when i logon as this user but whenever i logon as another user it can't load the profile. The profile has basic NTFS permissions set 'Users' Read so the user i created the profile with didn't have any special permissions.

Am i missing something important to allow all users to use this profile?
