Link 1: How A School MIS Helps With Attendance Management | Bromcom They schedule a demo with an MIS specialist. Link 2: How to switch MIS with your local IT support team | School MIS Quote ... Bromcom’s 30-day test drive for schools As part of the scheme, schools can get in touch with one of the listed support teams and request a 30-day Cloud-MIS test drive. The support team will then take a backup of the school’s Management Information System and upload it to the Bromcom portal. All data is migrated into Bromcom and can be accessed and used by the school, providing them with a realistic and practical experience of how the software would work in their environment... It's sales-led - you'll be talking to a support team / Bromcom rep, they'll want to follow up and quote you afterwards. You don't have to buy, but expect the sales conversation. You need to provide a backup of your current MIS to get the test drive populated - so there's a bit of admin/data-sharing agreement involved. It's time-limited to 30 days, then the test environment is closed unless you proceed. 1
Rob_D Posted October 16 Author Posted October 16 Thanks, but what if I'm already a Bromcom customer and just want to test out some features without inadvertantaly breaking our staff payroll?
6Foot2 Posted October 16 Posted October 16 You might ask for: A training/UAT (User Acceptance Testing) copy – When you first migrated, they did a test migration so you can train on your own data before go-live. That same approach is still used – if you want to try a big new module (e.g., Finance, MCAS, or a new assessment model) or want staff to practise safely, your account manager can spin up a separate training database with a copy of your data. Just raise a case via help.bromcom.com or email [email protected]. A webinar/1-2-1 walkthrough – Bromcom runs free live webinar training almost every week for all customers, plus you can buy bespoke onsite training. That's usually how existing users get shown new features. 1

Talk to your Customer Success Manager... we have a training instance provided by them, BUT you have to maintain it on an ongoing basis yourself (roll it over, give it new pupils, timetable etc etc). Whether they still offer this to newer customers, not sure. 1
