Hi all,

 

In the process of trying to devolve on prem AD and other servers in favour of Entra/Intune and am hitting a wall with a couple of things.

 

 

Printing.....

 

Currently using PaperCut MF with Sharp copiers.  We're a few versions old on this one. PaperCut (via Sharp) want to charge us for the years we haven't updated MF, which is about 3 years worth, which would apply to changing to Hive I'm presuming. 

We've got mobility print that we're using on a few non AD devices but its a bit faffy to set up on a large number of PC's. 

 

We also need scan to email and a client on the copiers.

 

A requirement is print accounting... to charge departments their monthly print usage. Does Hive do this?

 

 

Education Pro (Impero).....

 

What's the situation deploying this in a non AD environment?

 

I'd rather stick with the product but obviously not if its not going to cut it.  Its pretty shonky as it is.

 

 

 

 

Can anyone offer better solutions that are working for you.

I'm looking to ditch impero pro in favour of classroom.cloud (wanting to derisk the server room, have tenant level filtering etc) so if anyone can offer their 2 cents, that would be nice.
