UPS Selection

Hey guys,

Hoping the collective can help - I'm after the following;

 

- 1U Rack Mount UPS
- Network Management without Subscription (to enable web-based management, notifications and alerts - preferably a view of all UPS in one place)
- Short Depth - network cabinets are 600mm deep, so ideally the UPS should be max 500mm

 

Have come across a few, but the choices seem very limited.... hoping to also hear from experience of the management software side.

1500va i’d go Eaton 5P1550IRNG2BS (555mm deep)

1000va Eaton 5P1150IRNG2BS (502mm deep)

600va Eaton 5P650IRNG2BS (361mm deep)

 

All these specific models come with a network mangment card (no subscription) Clean and Easy UI.

 

We have over 30 Eaton UPS. Highly recommend.

We have been working with Legrand on UPS provision and have been impressed with them. They offer 3 year warranty on all HW, free UK-based tech support and free monitoring software. Pricing has been coming out very competitively as well. Please let me know if you would like some more info.

 

As well as supply of new UPS equipment, we can also do surveys of existing deployments to determine health, and maintenance contracts for existing UPS solutions, regardless of manufacturer.

Thanks for this - in terms of management, is it management per UPS or is there a one-page overview for all UPS? How have you found value/reliability with Eaton?

Yes please let me know - I wasn't aware Legrand had anything small enough? This is for new deployments so open for advice.

We do a per UPS Mgmt, not sure if they have somthing to do them all in one view tbh, we use a network monitoring tool to monitor them all.

Thanks - can you message me some indicative pricing please? Including specs - specifically the depth measurement.

Has anyone used/had experience with CyberPower or Vertiv?
