Popular Post Dos_Box Posted January 26 Popular Post Posted January 26 Just a quick post to say a big thank you from all of us to all of you who stopped by to chat and help with the pizza mountain each lunchtime (really, your help there was much appreciated!), it was really great to see you all in the real world again 😀 And big thank you goes to @ICTDirect_Dave and his crew for hosting us once more, as well as @Net-Ctrl for feeding you at lunchtime, it was very welcome. For us, this had been the busiest show since before covid I think, and the footfall on Wednesday and Thursday was to total shock. You'd have to go back quite some time to see crowds like that at BETT. I usually judge the success of a BETT show as how tired we are at the end, and this was a doozy 🙂 ETA: And a special thanks goes to @GrumbleDook for dropping off what can only be described as a potted history of EduGeek in merch and print form. Thanks Tony, my suitcase appreciated it 😜 2 3
ICTDirect_Dave Posted January 26 Posted January 26 It was a bloody good week and can absolutely agree with it being busier than expected! I am still tired despite a few early nights since getting home and was absolutely ready to drop on friday afternoon! Always great sharing a stand with you lot! The evening shenanigans were top notch as ever! To those of you we met and had some really great conversations with, thanks for your time. I'll be in touch later in the week. To everyone who stopped to look at our retro table, often with a fantastic story about your own early IT experiences, thank you! It made our days hearing about it all (and mine in particular knowing I wasn't the only person who adores the old Acorn Archimedes series!) Here's to next year where you can expect us to take this retro theme even further!
