mrstrong Posted January 21 Posted January 21 anyone else having issues this morning with email / teams etc ? Seems intermittent here
NorthernNoel Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Yep, thought it was just me to start with. I can't even get into the health center to see what's wrong 😂
steveg Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Not sure if its related, but I have had 3 staff have issues with the outlook app in their iPads this morning, it doesn't respond to touch at all, closing it and restarting the iPad doesn't help, uninstalling and reinstalling the app does. I've also just been called to a chromebook where word in teams keeps crashing and the page has to be reloaded, so I suspect something is up
robyholmes Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Seeing issues on our NyNet connection (@NorthernNoel relevant to you I suspect as well) but not my home Virgin Media connection. So it seems to me to be ISP related. Downdetector is showing an uptick in issues reported, but not a major one so I suspect this is why. I wonder if a certain backhaul provider is having issues which certain ISPs are using, resulting in traffic having to take the long route round. 1
mrstrong Posted January 21 Author Posted January 21 finally got onto the admin service health and no major issues listed so may be just an ISP here in the North ? 1
NorthernNoel Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Thanks @robyholmes I've just tried through my Virgin connection at home and it's working okay there. However noticed that https://downdetector.co.uk/status/microsoft-365/ is reporting issues. Have dropped NYnet a message just in case. 1

I reported to NYES Digital this morning too, who were going to past it onto NyNet. Other schools had already reported it but it was thought it was just another Microsoft issue. But doesn't appear that way to me. 1

NorthernNoel Posted January 21 Posted January 21 Got it working here. Things seemed to pick up although still couldn't access the admin center. Had to clear the browser cache to get there.

One did have an update available for Intune company portal, but updating this and restarting made no difference.
steveg Posted January 22 Posted January 22 If anyone else comes across the outlook on iPad issue, it is a Microsoft problem that they are working on, details and a work around are here: Latest iPad iOS update Outlook freezes on opening. - Microsoft Q&A
