An established education organisation based in Central London is seeking an experienced IT Team Leader to oversee day to day IT support services while remaining hands on technically.

This role is ideal for an IT professional with experience supporting Microsoft 365 and mobile device management platforms who enjoys leading a small team and delivering high quality IT services within a fast paced environment.

 

Location Central London
Salary £40,000 to £50,000
Contract Permanent Full Time

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily IT support operations across a multi site environment
• Act as the main escalation point for technical issues
• Provide hands on technical support alongside the team
• Support and manage Microsoft 365 services
• Lead on mobile device management using Intune, Jamf and Google Workspace
• Oversee user onboarding and offboarding including account and device setup
• Ensure systems, devices and services are secure and reliable
• Support IT service delivery during exams, events and peak periods
• Deliver IT training and onboarding for staff and users
• Maintain clear documentation and user guides

Skills and experience required

• Experience working in an IT support or IT services role
• Strong hands on experience with Microsoft 365
• Experience with Intune, Jamf or Google Workspace
• Experience leading or coordinating a small IT team
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Experience supporting Windows and Apple devices
