Smoothwall Cloud Filter - Windows Devices - Chrome Browser

We are testing deploying Smoothwall Cloud Filter on Windows devices via Intune for Chrome browser. We have managed to get it to deploy and the script is adding the correct entry to the registry however the extension is reporting "Provisioning Failed - No response from Native Client". 

 

Smoothwall:// diagnostics are not reporting anything because it seems it cannot communicate to the cloud filter.

 

Is there something we are missing? The ChromeOS extension is working as expected with no problems.

Just a shame it doesn't work with GCPW.

It's to do with the msi (or in this case the intunewin) not being installed. If we install the MSI manually to the laptop the extension works as expected.

I know what i've done, I got distracted when adding the intunewin file to intune 🤦‍♂️

 

Lets see what happens now!

The Smoothwall Unified Client is now on the laptop however Smoothwall have missed out a step - add the MSI to Intune.

 

Windows Apps > Create > Line of Business app > upload the MSI > edit the assignments > Save.

 

All working now.
