HP EliteOne 800 G5 - Synaptics Audio

Hi Guys,

 

Brought a load of G5 800 as i had a good deal on them however sound was working alright but recent updates for synaptics audio has broken the sound.

 

removing driver or switching over to windows audio has worked but have you guys got any workaround for bulk fixes?

has the audio changed to hp app audio I have seen this been done

Yeah i think it has from windows updates but we use windows 11 LTSC

Did you get anywhere with this? We're getting audio issues across the board, HP & Lenovo laptops, but intermittently.

Fro the timebeing i use SCCM deploy drivers then a gpo to block windows updates driver installation let me know if you need any advice on it.
