Koldov Posted October 7, 2025 Posted October 7, 2025 (edited) Just looking through some Google Groups stuff and came across this in my 'Recent Groups' (in fact it's one of about 8 )... They're all of a similar ilk (IT related), but I never knowingly joined any of them. I have followed the instructions to turn off 'Allow group managers to: Add me to their groups' but I don't think that's the issue as when I then follow the instructions to leave the group and remove myself, it appears I'm not even in the group (as you can see in the screenshot)... It may not be seen as a serious issue (as they don't show that I've joined them), but I thought I'd done a lot of securing our Google Workspace, so I don't really know why this part of it seems to be (at the very least) showing content from outside our tenant. Just seems odd to me that they've even appeared in my 'recent groups'. Edited October 7, 2025 by Koldov
jthompson Posted October 8, 2025 Posted October 8, 2025 It might just be that you've browsed a public post from that group (whilst signed in to Google) when browsing the web researching some problem or other. 1 1
