Acrobat Issues Crashing on 24H2

Over the summer we updated to Windows 11 24h2 and deployed the latest version of acrobat reader via GPO

Since everyone came back we are experiencing issues with acrobat reader

- not launching at all

- sometimes launching for the first file, then not launching again

- opening the program shortcut several times before i eventually loads.

On each load acrobat appears in task manager then crashes out with the below.

I thought it was AntiVirus causing the issue, but whether its installed or not, we still get the same inconsistencies above

Wondered if anyone else has seen/had this?

It's been freezing with a black screen for me.

Had to set the Registry Value:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\DC\AVAlert\cCheckbox

Value: iAppDoNotTakePDFOwnershipAtLaunchWin10    DWORD: 1

I think it all started from this error below. Clean install of acrobat reader on all machines. as soon you open reader give it a few seconds and the error below appear. solution was to rename the plugins folder, (not sure why there would be an issue on a clean install) and thats now when adobe is sporadic at opening.

I've discovered its a known bug with Trellix DLP If the plugin is removed from the folder, acrobat works fine!
