Windows 11 Desktop redirection showing edge

Hope you are well.

 

I have setup desktop redirection so all staff redirect to a folder on the server and only have minimal access.

This worked howevre there is a microsoft edge icon that appears on the desktop and I need to make it ONLY show the redirected folder.

 

This worked in windows 10, not 11 it looks like. What could it be?

OS managed group policy off server 2025.

update.. figured it out. I had it right.. not migrated one gpo

 

Remove common program groups from Start Menu

 

BINGO!
