Error Message

Hi, All

 

I was wondering if anyone could help. I get a error message saying

 

The requested lookup key was not found in any activation context.

 

when I either click on the windows update icon in the start menu or try to go to a website on internet explorer.

 

Could some one help fix this problem

probably server 2008, its in the server 2008 forum.

Most common reason is a IE7 problem

 

although the following has also helped in windows xp

 

After setting following services from Manual to Automatic, everything works:

DCOM Server Process Launcher,

Security Accounts Manager
