HP Wireless module

Just wondering if anyone has any experience of using this

 

HP Wireless Edge Services Module for ProCurve Switch ZL Series

J9051A HP J9051A - HP ProCurve Wireless Edge Svs zl Mod (Software Network Management)

 

in their ZL switch.

 

I am thinking it could be a good way to get us a managed wireless solution as we already have the core switch.

 

Any experience or thoughts please?

We've got one. It works well with (end of life, unable to buy more) ProCurve Radio Port 230 APs (J9006A). I didn't set it up but believe it was fiddly and someone from HP came in to do it. I've now got a problem where (newer, but also now EOL?) ProCurve MSM310 APs (J9379A) aren't being detected. I'm wondering if they're even compatible??? I'm not having much luck finding out any info on the web
