Google External share message

Hi guys

 

There has been an ongoing issue where a message pops on the files that it's been shared with external people not from our enterprise, but when we investigated we couldn't find anything of such. This happens for all google files.

 

 

I have reserched but couldn't find fix for this, please any fix for this ?

Not sure if the same thing, but we spotted something similar recently, for files that had been accessed through Google Classroom - according to our Google reseller, this is a Google issue. The issue is apparently that Google is now creating groups automatically for Classroom with a group that Google "manages" but it is being seen as external even though it is in our domain.

This happens for all files created on our Google Shared Drive, there is message displaying on the top left of docs that it has been shared with people outside our domain even though is not shared. Could you please tell me how you resolve your issue?

You've not got it shared with any accounts that are suspended do you?

No, this happens for all departments folders.

Have you logged it with Google Support?

Not sure about Google permissions, or if it's anything like Server Share Permissions... but is the root of your Google drive shared with anyone (and if so, does that affect the share permissions of each file?
