Folder redirection - but no folders?

Strange one

 

Start menu redirects fine however it seems since moving to Windows 11, new folders aren't recognised and any shortcuts that were placed in that folder are just put amongst the main list in the correct alphabetical order.

 

Is this expected behaviour now? Are folders not recognised?

I think there is an issue if you have a single shortcut in a folder - Windows 11 then shows this on the Start Menu, but not in a folder. Try adding a second shortcut to the folder and see if the behaviour changes.
