Power point animations issue

Hi, 

 

I have a weird issue with a power point presentation today. I have been shared a document that has an issue where it has multiple animations and appearances with text throughout one slide and I have gone through this and removed it as normal but for some reason it still has the animations and appearance on text and I can't seem to remove it. 

 

Has anyone else dealt with this issue before or would I need to create a new power point with the same information?
