Doesn't need monitor or peripherals.  Can push the budget to up to £4k but I recommended against it as any upgrades from here seem to offer pretty poor value for money. 

 

Currently has a i7 9700k and rtx 2080 which really struggles with latest games.

You could chop the RAM down to 6000 MT/s as that's the sweet spot for the AM5 X3D's and save a couple quid, other than that it looks solid, standard build for the price at the minute, will smash absolutely anything you throw at it.

personal choice I'd get a 5070ti and 32GB RAM, 5080 is 30% more money but maybe 15% performance
