Office 2016 keeps losing file permission

A few users have reported this issue where Word or PowerPoint is refusing to save the file or to our file server.

 

They have rights to the files and the destination, as you can see all files and see the folder being updated. 

 

The only fix we can find is closing the whole application down, which leads to lost work and they regain permission
