6Foot2 Posted May 13, 2025 Posted May 13, 2025 Link: ‘Fallout’ Gets Early Season 3 Renewal at Amazon Quote Fallout is set to return to Prime Video late this year — and it will continue beyond that. The Amazon-owned streamer has given an early season three renewal to Fallout, which instantly became one of Prime Video’s biggest shows when it debuted April 2024. Season two is set to premiere in December. Prime Video announced the early pickup at its upfront presentation Monday, with series stars Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten and Walton Goggins appearing on stage to reveal the season two premiere. “We are absolutely thrilled that our global Prime Video customers will be able to delve deeper into the wonderfully surreal and captivating world of Fallout,” Amazon MGM Studios global head of television Vernon Sanders said in a statement. “Jonah [Nolan], Lisa [Joy], Geneva [Robertson-Dworet], and Graham [Wagner] have done an exceptional job bringing this beloved video game franchise to vivid life on Prime Video. Together with our amazing partners at Bethesda Games and Bethesda Softworks, we are delighted to announce a third season of Fallout, well ahead of the much-anticipated debut of season two.” Fallout racked up 65 million views worldwide over its first 16 days of release, according to Amazon, and has since passed the 100 million-view mark. It ranks in the top three of all Prime Video series to date. Robertson-Dworet, who is co-showrunner of Fallout with Wagner, told The Hollywood Reporter after season one that they’re hoping to introduce more elements of the game franchise in season two: “There were so many things that we were not able to put in the show that we really desperately wanted that are either brilliant ideas for characters, creatures, set pieces. We’re always going to be bringing in new things from the Fallout mythology as we move forward with the show.” Along with Purnell, Moten and Goggins, Fallout’s cast includes Kyle MacLachlan, Moises Arias and Frances Turner. “The holidays came a little early this year — we are thrilled to be ending the world all over again for a third season of Fallout,” executive producers Nolan and Joy said in a statement. “On behalf of our brilliant cast and crew, our showrunners Geneva and Graham, and our partners at Bethesda, we’re grateful to our incredible collaborators at Amazon MGM Studios and to the amazing fans as we continue our adventures in the wasteland together.” Amazon MGM Studios and Kilter Films produce Fallout in association with Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks. Nolan, Lisa Joy and Athena Wickham of Kilter films executive produce with Robertson-Dworet, Wagner, Todd Howard of Bethesda Game Studios and James Altman of Bethesda Softworks. 3

Hoyt Posted August 22, 2025 Posted August 22, 2025 Interesting. I don't have prime or Netflix but it looks like season two is based off of the New Vegas game. Was the first season based off of Fallout 3 or 4?

machy Posted January 15 Posted January 15 Enjoying it so Far! How they are developing the Ghoul is fantastic Same 8 Episode Pacing issues that SE1 had though. I can't tell if most of the discord is caused by people watching it through shorts, or if people just have media literacy of a melon 1
