Handwriting fonts such as LetterJoin

I understand you cannot install TTF fonts onto Chromebooks.  I know about the Extensis extension also.

 

Are there any recommended fonts that are similar to Letterjoin?  They would at least have the have the alternative form of a.

 

The other issue is Word files coming from other schools in the Trust who use Microsoft word and have the LetterJoin font selected.

 

Even the iPad allows you to install a TTF font.

Word online also displays LetterJoin correctly if you have the font installed locally.

Google launched country specific handwriting fonts a bit over a year ago and then recently updated them further which was announced at BETT:
