Entra Connect Sync tool with Exa Network - Cannot connect!

Hi guys

 

Just installed Server 2025, brand new server looking for hybrid setup

 

Trying to install the Entra Connect Sync tool all i am getting is this error message!

 

TLS 1.2 is Enabled, have tried everyhting Microsoft Suggested and still keep getting this error message when we try to put our GA account details in

 

Tried swithing proxy on and off still nothing working

 using proxy

http://ad.quantum.exa-networks.co.uk   : 3128

we using EXA Internet, 

Able to access Microsoft Office fine both with and without proxy internet and everything works

Any ideas or suggestions???

 

Only thing i can think of is possibly firewall at Exa level............

Have you turned on the Application Control option for AD Connect in the Exa Portal? It automatically opens/unblocks all the required URLs/ports etc for it to connect

I know that this is an older post but... Entra Connect is not supported on Server 2025, and MS will not offer any if you run into issues.... Server 2022 is the latest OS that is supported. (don't learn this the hard way!)
