snagrat Posted March 15, 2025 Posted March 15, 2025 Still working through the new Smoothwall install and we have found that all users get classified as Default Users. Logging into the Cloud portal and we can see the directories are there but each group is not assigned to an AD group. I expect this is why but the ability to add groups or do any changes is greyed out. Is this right? It is the same for all our cloud admin users. I cannot see that these groups should be managed via the onprem device so am at a loss to how these groups get associated to the correct AD groups
ibpalle Posted March 17, 2025 Posted March 17, 2025 You should be able to manage them either on-prem or in the cloud portal. If both are unavailable, something isn't right. Open a ticket and pm me the number - I'll check our backend config.
Joeloman Posted March 17, 2025 Posted March 17, 2025 Could it be the connection to Azure AD (Entra ID) that is missing?
