Migration Tools from Google to Microsoft

HI everyone,

 

We are looking to migrate our school from Google to Microsoft. We have the capacity with school to manage this but we need a migration tool that can easily migrate emails, files and convert.

 

Has anyone got any recommendations for migration and conversion tools in one?

Sorry, nothing to help with the migration, but this isn't the first Google to MS move I've heard of. Has Google gone downhill, got too expensive, has MS got so much better or is it your school has joined a multi-academy trust and the central team are enforcing their MS strategy on you? Or is it something else? Also, what phase, primary, secondary, all-through or other?

Most of the Google exports are in an open standards format, so it should be as simple as scripting the download and uploading.

 

This will get all the data, https://github.com/GAM-team/GAM . Find the equivalent MS tool that imports and you should be good to go. (assuming the MS API's are as good as googles)
