C3PO Posted February 20, 2025 Posted February 20, 2025 BromCom has taken a third authority in Wales according to the latest news by WhichMIS. This is a massive move for the company in them securing this within a short space of time and shows the direction Welsh LA's have chosen a product to fit their needs. Link below - any conments welcome. https://www.whichmis.com/bromcom-secures-its-third-welsh-authority/
Synkrox Posted February 20, 2025 Posted February 20, 2025 I just hope that the addition of all these schools means Bromcom ramps up its dev and support teams above and beyond current levels rather than overwhelm them further. 1

sefton Posted February 20, 2025 Posted February 20, 2025 I would reply but I am scared of getting sued. All hail our Bromcom overlords.
garethEds Posted February 20, 2025 Posted February 20, 2025 Another Welsh LEA will be announcing either this week or next Decision - Award of Contract for Bromcom Schools Management Information system - Swansea
mikes Posted February 21, 2025 Posted February 21, 2025 We in our semi-rural LEA are moving to Arbor, I stayed out of the politics but I remember my boss having many zoom calls with the LEA and other schools as they decided which to choose, I'm sure I saw each of the big MIS show demos etc, so I can't see how Bromcom could argue proper contract choosing procedure hasn't been followed. Anyway for me all I'm concerned about is how easy it is to make users, how secure is it, and what the uptime is like.
dmj Posted February 21, 2025 Posted February 21, 2025 Somehow I misread the title as WhichMis - BromCom sues third authority in Wales 1
