So I have Moodle set up on a Windows 2003 server which was configured using the 1.9 automatic installer.

I have assigned the server a static IP address and entered a pointer record and a HOST (A) record in the local domain section of DNS.

I have configured my DNS which is related my online domain also.

So, from my client machine I can ping the IP address, the server's name on the domain (moodle) and also the Internet address OpenDNS

Not from a Domain Controller, even the one's running DNS, I cannot ping any addresses or the IP.

I can type the URL in my client computers browser within school and the site loads fine.

When at home it will not load. I've looked on my Cisco ASA and the DNS mappings must be correct as when trying from home, the correct IP address on the ASA adds one extra Hit each time I try.

I'm guessing if I fix the internal servers not been able to see it that will fix my home access.

I think I've provided all the details I need, if not ask away.

Cheers.
