Simcfc73 Posted January 27, 2025 Posted January 27, 2025 Hi, After the past few weeks my Veeam backup server has started locking up. A hard reboot used to fix it and it would work for a week then do the same again. Unfortunately now its locking up after 5 minutes. I've narrowed it down to something to do with Veeam as I disabled all the services and rebooted and it played nicely. I have contacted Veeam who asked for logs... bit hard when I haven't time to get them before it hangs. The server is still running.. when I am sat at it it just lags, task manager can't start.. says not responding. It's Server 2025 and Veeam has the latest updates..Dec 2024. I've run sfc \scannow and nothing shows up. Might try deleting the latest MS update next. Anyone had something similar?
Steve21 Posted January 27, 2025 Posted January 27, 2025 Are you using ReFS? Gostev (Veeam) confirmed that MS have a bug that's affecting Veeam installs using it on 2025 (high CPU/RAM) and MS are working on a fix currently Steve
