What AI Education stands do you recommend visiting??

Morning all.

I'm going to Bett tomorrow and I'm interested in seeing latest advancements in AI for teaching and learning.

Can anyone recommend stands I don't want to miss?

Think that depends on the what “type” of AI you’re after

 

As in if this teachers want it to create homework type? The it’ll write my reports type? Etc

 

There’s a fair few Microsoft talks on regarding using AInfrom their side, but pretty much every company has AI plastered around!

'AI' Seems to be this years buzzword at BETT, and many stands are promoting how AI makes their products better in some undefined way.

It's not a case of who is pushing AI in education, but which ones are actually utilising it I feel.

It would be interesting if any of you who attend can let us know your thoughts on who is actually utilising AI correctly.

Sorry it's a bit late but...

 

The most interesting AI stuff I saw were from smaller, start-up feeling companies that I wouldn't want to use right now, but it feels like they might be onto something.

 

Deepgrade: Using AI to mark assignments including handwriting OCR for physical assignments. Looks interesting, although no Teams/classroom integration yet. Teacher liked the idea in concept. I was less keen when the sails guy said scanning in everyone's homeworks could be an admin job. Also it's predicated on the kids putting their UPN on their work for automatic identification.

 

tapybl: Using AI to convert lesson plans into interactive video lessons. A cool looking system, but again its a separate platform that the kid would have to log into, and while they claim they have their own in-house model, the sales guy kept talking about GPT and Gemini.
