Mr_Jiminy Posted January 16, 2025 Posted January 16, 2025 Does anyone knw w`hat user license is required to deploy apps using the Intune Company Portal App, to iOS and Android devices. We have odd situation, where one education tenant we're managing is deploynig apps with A1 license assignment. But, we have another education tenant where it won't work with the A1 license and we need to assign A3 licenses to the users before apps will display/install in the Intune Company Portal App. Both tenants are assiging Office 365 A1 for Faculty licenses. Hoping someone can offer some clarity on this.
adamsund Posted January 16, 2025 Posted January 16, 2025 Are they both definitely Office 365 A1 licenses? Or is 1 a Microsoft 365 A1 license? We had a similar issue and it was due to us needing the Microsoft license as opposed to Office 365.
