WannabrewUK Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 Is anybody else experiencing slow speeds from SBB? We've got a 300Mbps Line on a 1000Mbps Bearer, but recently we've only been getting 95Mbps on a good day. I've opened up a support job with them, so just waiting to hear back from them now.
Olliedawg Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 SBB leased line here 1Gbps. Connection only no filtering. Haven't experienced any speed issues recently. Infact, haven't had any issues at all with our connection since early last year.
FN-GM Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 What does your monitoring system say? Is the line being heavily utilised? Might explain the performance issue.
PaddyNewman Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 Had a port drop to 100full? Cable failure etc? If you plug in directly to your router with a known good device and cable and get the speeds, I'd be cable checking. 95 is what I'd expect with a 100full connection.
SchoolsBroadband Posted December 11, 2024 Posted December 11, 2024 Do you have pur free telemetry service on the hub which monitors your historic bandwidth usage? Oue team can also log onto your router to see what speed you're doing at the exact second. I'd also recommend checking your switch to see what negotiation speed it's set itself too. A speed of 95 does sound a touch suspiciously close to 100mbps. If you dm me the case id I'll take a look too. We've no known network issues atm. WannabrewUK Posted December 16, 2024 Author Posted December 16, 2024 Turns out we had and internal issue which we managed to identify with the help of Schools Broadband. 1
