As the Head of Application Development, you will lead the development and integration efforts of the organisation’s key systems, driving the strategy for internal applications, reviewing code to ensure best practices, and optimising system performance. They will also serve as an additional coding resource for the organisation, directly contributing to development projects alongside the team. The role is crucial in supporting and guiding the team to deliver secure, efficient, and scalable solutions that meet organisational needs.

 

Reporting to the IT Director, the successful candidate will also directly manage two key team members: the Senior Web Systems and Integration Developer, and the Senior Systems Manager - Student Record System. This position forms part of and leads the Application Development sub-team within the wider IT function, ensuring seamless collaboration between technical and educational divisions across the organisation.
